Trinidad Christams Mission Trip

Just a reminder that Christie and I are leaving for Trinidad Friday morning, December 14...we are very excited about this trip, as we will get to have a Christmas program at each of the 4 village church houses we hold Sunday School each week. We are also launching a puppet ministry as part of the Christmas program will be sharing. I will be bringing the Christmas message at each program. The message is called "The 2 Most Important Gifts at Christmas". I am gong to have 2 presents wrapped...the first one will have a nativity scene in it that I will use to tell the Christmas story...God sent a GIFT to the whole world that night in Bethlehem, His Son, OUR SAVIOR. The second GIFT will have a cross...the Christmas story did not end in Bethlehem...but God gives EACH ONE the gift of the cross...INDIVIDUALLY we have to accept this gift, which is the greatest gift of Christmas!

We have a busy week and a lot of things to get accomplished...as you pray, please pray for a couple of specific things:

  1. God will prepare the hearts of the kids and parents, many who will hear the REAL Christmas story for the first time.
  2. I have meetings with several young men, all whom I know from working with a previous church there, to discuss joining us in ministry. Bobby, one of these men, could have a huge impact on our work.
  3. We will be looking at several vehicles (vans) for use in our ministry. Transportation is a huge problem, even though we are working in villages as opposed to a large church, kids still need to be picked up. We a van in good condition and a good price!
  4. Planning with the guys for 2013...I have set a goal of 1 new village church house per quarter, for a total of 8 by the end of 2013.
  5. Discussion with Tony, one of the guys working with us now, about part-time or full-time ministry with us. From the first time I met Tony, he told me that he wanted to be in full-time ministry. He a sharp young man, though not Biblical trained, could preach from many pulpits in the US right now.
Check back each day for a summary of the day's miracles!
